Based in South East London Alice and Ben love to explore the breadth and depth of the UK food & drink scene. In June 2020 they launched RiSE coffee box, a subscription discovery box showcasing the best of the UK's coffee roasters. Now turning their hands to English wine, they seek to discover the best of what English wine has to offer. As they travel England tasting and learning more about English Wine, they'll share their journey with you. Their mission is to seek out and promote the best vineyards in England, and help you to build up your English Wine knowledge, whilst tasting some amazing wines!
HOW WE CHOOSE OUR WINE
Partnering with our Head of Wine, Vanessa Stoltz, we scour England to find the best tasting wine out there. From large-scale award-winners to growing vineyards that bottle in small batches, we want to show you just how diverse English wine can be. Every wine has been picked carefully and with love. Although you may be familiar with the grape varieties, we've chosen bottles that have unexpected, positive aromas for you to grow fond of. Others will contain grapes you have not yet come across but you’ll spot similar aromas to some of your favourite vinos. This will allow you to expand your knowledge and wine choices for your next dinner party.
Figures are calculated on the final order total less VAT and delivery charges. Donation figure shown is the maximum amount donated, actual amount may be lower. Donations will only be allocated for completed online purchases.
